Yunanistan’\u0131n g\u00fcneybat\u0131s\u0131ndaki \u0130yon Denizi’nden ba\u015flay\u0131p, Girit Adas\u0131’n\u0131n g\u00fcneyinden ge\u00e7erek Fethiye Burdur fay\u0131na ba\u011flan\u0131p Anadolu karas\u0131na ilerleyen Helen Yay\u0131, Ege ve Akdeniz k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131 i\u00e7in b\u00fcy\u00fck tehlike olu\u015fturuyor.<\/p>\n

Geni\u015f \u00f6l\u00e7ekli bir fay hatt\u0131 olan Helen Yay\u0131’n\u0131n aktif oldu\u011funu belirten Dokuz Eyl\u00fcl \u00dcniversitesi (DE\u00dc) Deprem<\/a> Ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve Uygulama Merkezi (DAUM) M\u00fcd\u00fcr\u00fc Prof. Dr. Hasan S\u00f6zbilir, “Bu b\u00f6lgedeki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalara g\u00f6re 100 veya 140 y\u0131l aras\u0131nda b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00e7apl\u0131 depremler oluyor. Son ya\u015fanan b\u00fcy\u00fck deprem de bu rakamlara kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k geliyor. Dolay\u0131s\u0131yla yak\u0131n bir gelecekte b\u00fcy\u00fck bir deprem bekleniyor. Bu fay\u0131n deprem \u00fcretmesi durumunda \u00f6zellikle bizim bat\u0131 k\u0131y\u0131lar\u0131m\u0131z olan \u0130zmir, Ayd\u0131n, Mu\u011fla, Antalya b\u00f6lgeleri zarar g\u00f6rebilir. Kayadaki etkinin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra bu b\u00f6lgelerde tsunami olu\u015fabilir” dedi.<\/p>\n

“GE\u00c7M\u0130\u015e D\u00d6NEMDE \u00c7OK SAYIDA CAN VE MAL KAYBI YA\u015eANDI”<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Helen Yay\u0131’n\u0131n geni\u015f \u00f6l\u00e7ekli oldu\u011funa dikkati \u00e7eken Prof. Dr. S\u00f6zbilir, “Helen Yay\u0131, \u00e7ok geni\u015f \u00f6l\u00e7ekli bir fayd\u0131r ve bu fay zonu \u00fczerinde \u00e7ok say\u0131da deprem olur. Tarihe bakt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fckleri 8’e varan depremlerin oldu\u011funu g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Bu depremler sonucunda bir\u00e7ok kez tsunami ya\u015fanm\u0131\u015f. \u00d6zellikle Antalya’n\u0131n bulundu\u011fu b\u00f6lgede ge\u00e7mi\u015f d\u00f6nemlerde bu fay hatt\u0131 nedeniyle \u00f6nemli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde can ve mal kayb\u0131 meydana gelmi\u015f. \u0130lerleyen d\u00f6nemlerde bu fay hatt\u0131 \u00fczerinde de\u011fi\u015fik \u00f6l\u00e7eklerde depremlerin olmas\u0131 s\u00f6z konusu” diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n

“\u0130\u00c7 FAYLARI TET\u0130KLEYEB\u0130L\u0130R”<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Sadece Helen Yay\u0131 de\u011fil, K\u0131br\u0131s Yay\u0131 \u00fczerinde de meydana gelen belli depremler oldu\u011funa dikkat \u00e7eken Prof. Dr. S\u00f6zbilir, bu yay\u0131n ise Do\u011fu Anadolu fay\u0131 ile ba\u011flant\u0131l\u0131 oldu\u011funu dile getirdi. Ayn\u0131 zamanda bu yaylar\u0131n Anadolu karas\u0131 i\u00e7erisindeki di\u011fer faylar\u0131 tetikleyebilece\u011fini belirten Prof. Dr. S\u00f6zbilir, “Bir de bunlar\u0131n i\u00e7 k\u0131sm\u0131nda kalan Anadolu levhas\u0131 i\u00e7indeki faylar var. Bu faylar\u0131n da deprem \u00fcretmeleri s\u00f6z konusu olabiliyor. T\u00fcrkiye olarak bir deprem \u00fclkesiyiz. Bu nedenle deprem \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k verilmesi gerekiyor” dedi.<\/p>\n

“17 D\u0130R\u0130 FAYDA 7 B\u00dcY\u00dcKL\u00dc\u011e\u00dcNDE DEPREM OLU\u015eAB\u0130L\u0130R”<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ge\u00e7en y\u0131l 30 Ekim’de meydana gelen 6.6 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcndeki \u0130zmir depreminin art\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131ndan s\u00f6z eden Prof. Dr. S\u00f6zbilir, “\u0130zmir depreminin \u00fczerinden 1 y\u0131l ge\u00e7mesine ra\u011fmen art\u00e7\u0131lar devam ediyor, daha da devam edecek. Bu b\u00f6lgede bu faya \u00e7ok yak\u0131n \u00f6zelliklerde olabilecek 17 civar\u0131nda diri fay var. Bunlar\u0131n tetiklendi\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcl\u00fcrse bu faylarda da belli depremler beklenebilir. Bu faylar\u0131n \u00fcretece\u011fi depremler 7 b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcne varabilir. \u00d6nemli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde can ve mal kayb\u0131 ya\u015fanabilir. Bu nedenle kentsel d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 h\u0131zland\u0131rarak \u00f6nlem almak gerekiyor” ifadelerini kulland\u0131.<\/p>\n
