NATO<\/a> Genel Sekreteri Jens Stoltenberg, Washington temaslar\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda, Austin ile Pentagon<\/a>‘da g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc.<\/p>\n

G\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fme \u00f6ncesi k\u0131sa bir a\u00e7\u0131klama yapan Austin, “NATO’nun g\u00fcc\u00fc yaln\u0131zca askeri g\u00fc\u00e7ten de\u011fil, birli\u011finden ve ortak ama\u00e7 duygusundan gelir.” dedi.<\/p>\n

Stoltenberg’in gayretlerini takdir ettiklerini ifade eden Austin, ayr\u0131ca, ge\u00e7en ay Afganistan’dan \u00e7ekilme ve Afganistan’\u0131n ba\u015fkenti Kabil’den tahliye yoluyla ittifaka liderlik etmesine yard\u0131mc\u0131 oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in Stoltenberg’e te\u015fekk\u00fcr etti.<\/p>\n

NATO Genel Sekreteri ise yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131klamada, “NATO her zamankinden daha \u00f6nemli \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc daha rekabet\u00e7i bir d\u00fcnyayla kar\u015f\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131yay\u0131z. Sald\u0131rgan eylemleriyle Rusya’y\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz, ekonomik ve askeri g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc kullanan daha iddial\u0131 bir \u00c7in g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Ayr\u0131ca siber tehditler, kal\u0131c\u0131 ter\u00f6r tehditleri ve di\u011fer bir\u00e7ok tehditle kar\u015f\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131yay\u0131z.” diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n

Bu zorluklarla tek ba\u015f\u0131na y\u00fczle\u015febilecek hi\u00e7bir k\u0131ta, hi\u00e7bir \u00fclke olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade eden Stoltenberg, “Kuzey Amerika ve Avrupa olarak NATO’da birlikte durmal\u0131y\u0131z ve \u0130ttifak\u0131 de\u011fi\u015fen g\u00fcvenlik ortam\u0131na uyarlamam\u0131z gerekiyor.” ifadelerini kulland\u0131.<\/p>\n

Austin ile Stoltenberg’in, ba\u015fta Afganistan’dan \u00e7ekilme s\u00fcreci, ABD ve \u0130ngiltere’nin denizalt\u0131 in\u015fa etmek dahil Avustralya ile \u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc ittifak yapmas\u0131 sonras\u0131nda Fransa ile bu \u00fclkelerin aras\u0131ndaki diplomatik kriz ve Fransa’n\u0131n Afrika’da askeri varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 azaltma a\u00e7\u0131klamas\u0131 olmak \u00fczere bir\u00e7ok konuyu ele ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 ifade ediliyor.<\/p>\n

Uluslararas\u0131 g\u00fcvenlik durumunun ele al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fmede, NATO’nun Transatlantik savunmay\u0131 korumak i\u00e7in g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi \u00e7abalar\u0131n\u0131n da de\u011ferlendirildi\u011fi aktar\u0131lan a\u00e7\u0131klamada, Biden’\u0131n, ABD’nin NATO’ya g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc deste\u011fini ve savunman\u0131n g\u00fc\u00e7lendirilmesinin \u00f6nemini dile getirdi\u011fi kaydedildi.<\/p>\n
